The Cobbler's Children Have No Shoes

10/30/2015

That is an old saying that rings so true sometimes. The person who makes shoes for the village, doesn't have time nor resources to make shoes for their own children.

I was talking with a friend and colleague this week. We were discussing the things we do to help others grow their online presence, stay focused in their business and prioritize their schedule. We also talked about how hard it sometimes is to practice what you preach.

This is true for me this week. My schedule has been disrupted. My sleep schedule has been off. The weather has changed. All in all I am feeling a bit disorganized and certainly haven't accomplished my to do list. So, now what?

Well, it is time to regroup, refocus and reorganize. I will spend some time today laying out my plan and hopefully do a much better job sticking to it. Perhaps some accountability will help. Wanna be my schedule buddy for the week? THANKS!

At first read it may not seem like a lot to accomplish in a day, but these are the must-dos. I try to leave room in my schedule for interruptions and other obligations that may arise.

I hope to be able to report back next week and say that I accomplished all I set out to do. What about you? What do you hope to accomplish this coming week? Do you need an accountability buddy? I'm happy to help if I can.
